We're not selling you a product. We're selling you ours.
Every DMP ONE that leaves our workshop is exactly the one we listen to at home. That's not a marketing promise. It's the only kind of product we know how to build — because what's inside it has been growing far longer than our company.

WHERE IT STARTED
A passion, inherited.
It all started with our father. Sound quality has been his passion for as long as we can remember — he'd try out new gear, set up a new DAC, call us into the room and ask which one sounded better. He explained the differences to us, and at some point his weren't the only ears listening closely.
Over the years, that passion turned into engineering: a computer scientist with a doctorate, a deep understanding of software architectures, and a long-standing affinity for open source, he began with the idea of DMP NEXUS four years ago — the work that now forms the foundation of our product. We three siblings inherited the passion, and through our computer science related studies, the craft to carry it forward. Last year, we turned it into 64bitAudio — to shape his work into a product that lets others hear the way we hear at home.
We develop in Berlin, a city where audio engineering — from studio monitors to music software — is simply part of the air.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our convictions.
-
Audio should serve music, not ecosystems.
-
Software is where the real difference is made.
-
Open systems build the best foundation
-
Open source deserves credit.
-
We build what we want to listen with.
These are the standards we measure every decision against.
HOW WE BUILD
From conviction to decision.
We build on proven, open foundations rather than expensive in-house reinvention — and focus our engineering where it makes the difference: in the software. What already works well, we don't rewrite. And we name the sources we stand on.
Combining proven foundations and extending them where it makes the difference — that's our engineering approach.
If you want to hear it.
