The DMP ONE works with any USB Audio Class 2 compliant DAC — which is essentially every modern USB DAC. It supports up to PCM384/32 (via UPnP) and PCM384/24 (per SCD), and native DSD512.

You install DMP NEXUS CORE — our control application. On Windows additional an ASIO and WAVERT drivers needs to be installed. On Linux there is no driver required. Optionally, you can install the DMP NEXUS PLAYER, our reference player that natively supports DSD512 for local files.

Yes, you can also use it as an OpenHome/UPnP renderer with apps like Linn and Lumin — without using our DMP NEXUS CORE control application.

Natively, not yet — but a real solution exists today. The DMP NEXUS VIRTUAL APPLIANCE is a pre-configured Linux image that runs on the free UTM hypervisor on your Mac and runs the full sender, transporting DSD512 stably. We use it for our own macOS demos. We currently support Windows 10/11 and Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora tested) natively, and a native macOS version is on our roadmap.

A few minutes. Install DMP NEXUS CORE on your desktop and connect the DMP ONE to your network — it shows up immediately, plug-and-play. Multiroom is two clicks, and the local UPnP/DLNA music server appears on your network, ready for your files. That's it.

The DMP ONE is powered over USB-C and accepts 5–20V at 2A. Any quality USB-C power supply (USB-C Power Delivery) meeting those values will work. A power supply is not included — so you can use the one you prefer.

A wired Ethernet connection. Connect the DMP ONE to your router or switch with a network cable — that's what gives you the stable, low-latency transport a DSD512 stream needs. Nothing more required.

Yes. The DMP ONE shows up as a device on your network — under "Network" in your file explorer. Just drop your DSD and other music files there directly, like a network share. You don't need DMP NEXUS CORE for the upload. To play them, use our PLAYER or any compatible player that sees the DMP ONE on the network, such as the Linn app.

We currently ship within Germany and to Austria. Shipping is free, in 3 to 5 business days after dispatch. We are expanding to additional EU countries during the course of this year — if you live outside Germany and Austria, contact us via the form and we'll note you down.

The DMP ONE in your configured finish and storage variant, plus a setup card with QR code linking to the product guide. Furthermore, we include EMC-optimzed cables for USB-A, USB-C, and Ethernet as well as a grounding cable. Recommended power supply specs are documented in the setup guide.

Yes, free for the life of the firmware support. Updates arrive automatically over the air — nothing to install by hand. The DMP ONE fetches them itself and is ready again right after.
