ENGINEERING TRANSPARENCY
One architecture, documented end to end.
As engineers we describe our products with detailed documentation. The DMP NEXUS ecosystem transfers audio from your desktop, across your network, to your DAC — in three segments, each solving its own problem. The pages below explain how, layer by layer.
Built on OpenHome's Songcast Direct standard, DMP NEXUS provides an open, bit-perfect desktop-to-network streaming path for Windows, Linux, and – via the ready-to-play virtual appliance – macOS on Apple Silicon.

THE THREE SEGMENTS
Sender, network, receiver.
The architecture overview shows the whole chain. The deep dives go layer by layer.

Native OS Audio Capture
Bit-perfect capture via custom-built drivers.
On the desktop, the DMP NEXUS CORE captures audio from any application and hands it — untouched — to the network. Custom ASIO and WAVERT drivers on Windows, a ready-to-use PipeWire sink on Linux. Native DSD where the path supports it.

DOCUMENTATION
Open Source Foundation
Every component named, every license respected.
The DMP NEXUS ecosystem is built on Linux, PipeWire, Audacious, OpenHome, and a selection of open-source libraries. We document each component, respect each license, and credit the community whose work made ours possible.

FOR THE THOROUGH READER
Or read all of it, in one document.
The white paper documents the full architecture in one technical reference — every segment, the SCD protocol, and the verification methodology, including detail the web pages deliberately leave out.
